At the present time, the International Paediatric Brain Injury Society and the North American Brain Injury Society are planning to hold the 2022 Joint Conference on Brain Injury in-person at the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel as originally scheduled.
Ultimately, the health and safety of our registrants, partners and staff remain our main concern. We will continue to follow guidance and recommended safety measures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as NYC state and local officials.
To ensure the safety of all the attendees of the conference, we will be requiring all registrants to upload proof of COVID-19 vaccination during the registration process (you will not be able to complete your registration without uploading). To assist in ensuring the safety of all participants, we are asking that attendees do not register for the 2022 Joint Conference on Brain Injury or reserve accommodation in NYC unless they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. In addition, all attendees and exhibitor booth personnel will be required to wear a mask while in the Wyndham New Yorker Hotel, except when eating/drinking. Attendees, staff, exhibitors, exhibitor appointed contractors, vendors and members of the labor force should stay home if they have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for their COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms, or if they have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19.
